Social Media & Content Executive

• Role Purpose
• The Social Media & Content Executive is responsible for building and maintaining 116 Pictures’ social presence through content that showcases our productions, Directors, Producers, creative talent and company culture.
• The successful candidate should be able to identify good stories, collect material from productions, create simple content independently, write strong captions and keep our channels active and consistent without relying on a large marketing team.
• Key Responsibilities
• Plan and maintain a practical monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Create and publish content featuring commercial productions, behind-the-scenes moments, Directors, Producers, creative talent, company news and production culture.
• Work closely with Producers and Directors to identify interesting stories, visuals and moments from current and completed projects.
• Collect, organise and archive approved production photos, videos, BTS material, credits and other social assets.
• Create simple social-first content such as Reels, short videos, carousels and stories using available editing/design tools.
• Write and adapt captions and social copy in English and/or Vietnamese, maintaining a consistent 116 Pictures voice.
• Coordinate with Editor, Designer, Photographer and external creatives when additional content is required.
• Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and basic community engagement.
• Monitor basic platform performance and provide practical recommendations based on what is working.
• Stay aware of relevant social formats and trends within advertising, film, production and creative industries.
• Ensure all published content is properly approved and respects client confidentiality, usage rights and production restrictions.

Must-Have Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in social media, content, digital marketing or a related creative role.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Good visual judgement and an understanding of what makes production content interesting.
• Hands-on experience creating and publishing social content.
• Comfortable using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Photoshop or equivalent.
• Good English communication and writing skills.
• Highly organised and able to work independently in a small, fast-moving team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to chase information, assets and approvals rather than wait for them.
• Portfolio or examples of previous content/social work.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in advertising, film, production, photography, media or an agency environment.
• Experience creating behind-the-scenes or production-related content.
• Basic video editing and photography skills.
• Understanding of social analytics and platform performance.
• Experience working with Directors, Producers or other creative professionals.

• Comfortable working across several projects at the same time.
• Strong attention to detail, especially around client names, credits, approvals and confidentiality.
• Willing to work around production schedules when content opportunities arise.
