Video Editor – Commercial & Content

• Role Purpose
• The Video Editor will transform raw footage into strong commercial, branded and social content, working directly with Producers, Directors and creative teams.
• We are looking for someone with strong visual taste who can work independently, understand creative direction quickly and take a project from footage organisation through to polished delivery.
• Key Responsibilities
• Edit commercial, advertising and branded-content projects from rough cut through final delivery.
• Review, organise and select footage based on creative briefs, storyboards and Director/Producer direction.
• Develop edits with strong storytelling, pacing, rhythm, composition and visual continuity.
• Work across commercial films, branded content, social videos, Reels, BTS and short-form content.
• Work directly with Producers and Directors through creative reviews and revisions.
• Manage client, agency and internal feedback accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare different versions, cutdowns, aspect ratios and platform-specific deliverables when required.
• Coordinate with sound, music, colour grading, motion graphics and other post-production specialists when required.
• Maintain clean project structures, footage organisation and version control.
• Ensure final files meet technical specifications, deadlines and quality standards.
• Flag technical or editorial issues early rather than waiting until final delivery.

Must-Have Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music, visual rhythm and commercial editing.
• Experience with commercial, advertising, branded-content or social video.
• Strong visual taste and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand a creative brief and translate direction into an effective edit.
• Ability to manage several projects and deadlines.
• Good communication and ability to receive and implement feedback.
• Professional portfolio/showreel is required.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in a production company, advertising agency or post-production environment.
• Knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or other post-production tools.
• Experience working directly with Directors, Producers, agencies or clients.
• Experience creating social-first and short-form content.
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of colour, sound and motion workflows.

• Organised enough to keep project files clean even under pressure.
