Junior Video Editor (Youtube)

Hey, we’re the Andrew Fraser YouTube channel. We make travel, food, culture, and adventure documentaries for a global YouTube audience.

Take a look at the channel here

• Our goal is to create some of the highest-quality travel-related content on YouTube: immersive stories, real characters, beautiful places, intense experiences, food, culture, chaos, emotion, and moments that feel bigger than typical travel YouTube.
• We’re looking for a Junior Video Editor who can help turn hours of raw footage into clean, story-led long-form edits — and grow fast under experienced lead editors.
• This is not just a “cut clips together” role. You’ll learn pacing, structure, sound, and taste on real documentary travel videos, with clear feedback and room to level up.

Responsibilities

• Long-form video editing (story pacing, sound, titles, basic color)
• Build scenes from travel, food, culture, and documentary footage
• Deliver clean cuts on deadline and iterate from feedback
• Work from briefs and rough selects with the production team in Ho Chi Minh (Tan Binh)
• Create basic graphics / simple motion as needed (training provided)
• Help the channel’s edits feel sharper and more intentional over time

What we offer

• Salary: USD 600–1000 / month
• Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm (1-hour lunch)
• 12 days off / year + official holidays
• Office: Tan Binh District, HCMC
• Result-based bonuses
• Laptop provided (as needed)

• Solid DaVinci Resolve basics + storytelling sense
• Portfolio / showreel with 1–3 strong edits (link required)
• Good English (able to communicate in English)
• Comfortable with feedback and multiple revisions
• Full-time; able to work in-office in Tan Binh, HCMC
• Passion for YouTube / documentary / travel storytelling
• Nice to have: sound design instincts, basic After Effects / graphics
• Apply with CV + a link to your best edit. Portfolio-first screening — no unpaid remote trial.
